Eddie Fatu, better known as Umaga from his days in WWE, died this afternoon in a Houston hospital after a heart attack. He was 36th.
Fatu was part of the famous Battle of Samoa, whose family includes Sam Brothers better known as Tama of the Islanders and Solofa Jr. (Rikishi Fatu) Anoa'i cousin Matt, who Fatu tag in the WWE as "Three Minute Warning" Fatu was known as Jamal at the time. His uncles were wild Samoan - Afa and Sika, who trained him in the sport.
Fatu started in the then WWF in a short period of participation angle Rikishi (then known only as Fatu) along with Matt, but soon the two were sent to the system of enterprise's development. The two had time to hone their skills in the FMW promotion in Japan.
In the 2000s, the duo is perhaps better known as The Island Boyz, during their development time, was brought to the WWE as Three Minute Warning. Maintained by Armando Alejandro Estrada, Umaga climbed the ladder in WWE very soon after returning to debut in April 2006. His first night, Umaga attacked Ric Flair and will soon be in the ring with the likes of Shawn Michaels and Triple H. warrior wearing face paint and covered with tattoos, Umaga was a strong competitor and unpredictability in the ring. His path of destruction in WWE took him to several games against the WWE Championship John Cena in late 2006 and early 2007.
"The Samoan Bulldozer, Umaga, has very good run over by it," Estrada told SLAM! Wrestling in January 2007. "It took all that has been in the ring with - with the exception of the champion, who next on the list - Nobody has been able to score a victory over him."
Finally Umaga could gain control over the Intercontinental title and had his most publicized fight at WrestleMania 23rd In this struggle, represented Umaga Vince McMahon in a match against Bobby Lashley, seconded by Donald Trump. The man who stood every fighter in the ring to put the hair on the line, and after defeating Umaga would McMahon shaved.
Following this peak, Umaga remains a high-flying Superstar, a mix of a series of battles that pitted McMahon against Lashley. Finally, Estrada was removed from the mini-group and Umaga ventured out on their own.
During this time, Intercontinental title from Umaga and trade hands between Santino Marella, Jeff Hardy and often clash against Samoa in a series of combat stress.

Fatu was one of the WWE superstars in the name famous Sports Illustrated article as buying drugs online, a violation of the WWE Wellness Policy. He was suspended once for this, and then released after he had passed the test a second time and refused treatment at a rehabilitation center.
WWE issued a statement on the death of Fatu on its website: "WWE wishes to express its deepest condolences to the family of Mr Fatu, friends and admirers of his tragic death. Mr. Fatu was under contract with WWE at different times and most recently performed in name 'Umaga. Mr Fatu contract was terminated June 11, 2009. "
Umaga has lately been a part of Hulkamania tour in Australia, and was rumored at one point returning to WWE.
