The mother of man, the Mexican government has identified as the Zapatista leader, Subcomandante Marcos, who died at the airport in Mexico City.
Airport spokesman Jose Luis Hernandez, says 70-year-old Socorro Vicente Gonzalez died Monday of an apparent heart attack while waiting for a plane to his native Tamaulipas.
Mexico's federal government has identified Mark as a former university professor Rafael Sebastian Guillen Vicente. But Marcos, appearing in public with a balaclava covering his face, has never confirmed it's him.
Zapatista Marcos went into an armed uprising in 1994 in the southern state of Chiapas. After starting to fight against them, turned the government to offer negotiations and the support has eroded support for the rebels.
